Bill Coombs – You Wine Me Up

Normally when I bring you a track I’m able to give you a bit of a background about the artist or something interesting about the song – not this time, though I’ll do my best!

This track is from Bill “Bad Child” Coombs and  was produced by the 60’s french producer/singer Danyel Gerard. For those of you into your 60’s French freakbeat/psych you wil be well aware of Danyel Gerard’s fantastic “Sexologie” (though most of his other stuff is not of that quality in my opinion)

As for anything about Bill Coombs – that’s where I’m lost. So if any of you have any details about him let me know. The track itself is from ’69 and would be best described as a mod funk floorfiller. Not much else needs to be said, so I’ll just let the song do the talking.
