Panic Buttons – O-Wow

So onto another week and more news of the passing of 2 very famous names within the music world – Robin Gibb (of Bee Gees fame) & Donna Summer. Whilst I wasn’t a fan of either, it’s nonetheless sad to see two such influential musicians die at relatively young ages. R.I.P.

Anyway on to this week’s update and boy do we have a funky little treat for you. There’s not much known about the Panic Buttons but I can tell you that this track was released in ’69 out of Philadelphia (in fact it appeared on the fantastic “Philadelphia Roots” compilation on the Soul Jazz label a few years back).

Aside from that – well I’m a bit stuck. The track itself is a very heavy funk instrumental with nice guitar and an excellent horn section. I’m sure you’ll all appreciate it just as much as I do!

In the not too distant future there will be a few announcements here on the blog that we are quite excited about so keep checking in to be the first to know.

Keep it funky!
